About Doug Robertson

Doug 's common sense approach to financial planning coupled with his astute knowledge in implementing a well designed financial portfolio for his clients, have been the foundation for his success. With over 30 years in the industry, his experience has equipped him with all the tools to provide thoughtful and proactive service to his clients.  

Doug holds the "Certified Financial Planning" (CFP)® designation from the Financial Planning Standards Council, "Certified Executor Advisor" (CEA)  designation and is Past President of the Peterborough branch of Advocis (life underwriters). He is also a member of the Independent Brokers Association supporting the idea that having access to all insurance and investment company products allows him to choose appropriate plans that work best for each client or company.

Doug, along with his wife Christy, have three grown children all thriving as they further their education and embark on careers themselves. Doug and Christy are very proud of their community involvement through local sports teams, charities and special events. Doug enjoys golf, hiking, camping and spending time with his family.
